This page describes the terms that apply to e-mail communications with Deserra.
Notice to Recipients
The information contained in and accompanying an e-mail from Deserra may be confidential, privileged, or otherwise protected from disclosure, and is intended solely for the use of the intended recipient or recipients. If you are not an intended recipient, please notify the sender, permanently delete the communication and any attachments, and do not review, copy, disclose, distribute, or rely on the contents.
Transmission Risks
E-mail messages may be delayed, intercepted, corrupted, incomplete, altered, or affected by software defects, malicious code, or other security issues. Deserra does not guarantee that any e-mail or attachment will be secure, error-free, virus-free, accurately transmitted, or compatible with every system.
Monitoring and Retention
Deserra may intercept, monitor, review, retain, and disclose e-mail communications sent to, from, or through its systems as permitted or required by applicable law, regulation, policy, security practice, contractual obligation, or legitimate business need.
Business Communications
Unless Deserra expressly agrees otherwise in a signed written agreement, e-mail communications are provided for general business purposes only and do not, by themselves, create binding obligations, amendments, waivers, service commitments, acceptance criteria, transfer of intellectual property rights, or legal notice.
No Endorsement by Routing
References in an e-mail to products, technologies, vendors, platforms, integrations, or third parties are provided for operational or informational purposes only unless Deserra states otherwise in a formal written agreement. Mention of a third party does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or approval.
Views, Authority, and Verification
Opinions, commentary, forecasts, and informal observations contained in an e-mail are those of the sender unless the message expressly states that it is an authorized statement of Deserra. Requests or instructions involving payments, bank details, credentials, security settings, or material contractual changes should be verified through an independent channel before action is taken.
Unsolicited Information
Unsolicited information sent to Deserra may not be treated as confidential, may be shared internally for evaluation and compliance purposes, and does not by itself create a contractual, advisory, fiduciary, or other protected relationship. Do not send sensitive information unless Deserra has asked you to do so through an agreed channel.
If You Prefer Not to Use E-mail
If you are uncomfortable with the risks associated with e-mail, you may choose not to use e-mail to communicate with Deserra and instead request an alternative channel.
